APPLICATION

Perano locks, hinges, handles and other accessories are generally used in the sheetmetal industry. Other industry applications include power distribution, automation, electrical, telecommunications and instrumentation and control. Hinges are available for flush mount and for proud mount door applications and in concealed weld-on and bolt-on arrangments. Locks range from outdoor heavy duty Eskom type locks to Triangle drive panel locks to chrome plated key operated camlocks.

CONSTRUCTION

Locks and hinges typically are manufactured from zinc diecast and then powder coated textured black. Panel locks are available in polyamide black. Mild steel equivalents are available in the padlockable lever lock range. Hinges with male threads and nuts or with female tapped holes and bolts are part of the range. All panel and padlockable lever locks are adjustable and available with ten different cam or tongue types varying from mild steel, zinc diecast to nylon 6.
