MEGA 3CR12 DOLPHIN SERIES
APPLICATION
The Dolphin Series of stainless steel (3CR12) wall mounting enclosures is designed for the use in the electronics, electrical, computer and communication equipment field plus hydraulic and pneumatic controls indusrties Enclosures are suitable for highly corrosive environments, where the degree protection is IP65.
CONSTRUCTION
Enclosures are manufactured from 1,5mm thick stainless steel (3CR12) material - see specifications or go to http://www.columbus.co.za/products/productsmain.htm - and powder coated to a minimum of 60-micron textured polyester coating, which further enhances the resistance to corrosion and chemical agents. Chassis or mounting plates are manufactured from 2mm mild steel and power coated white.
FINISH
Standard colours include textured RAL7032 grey and textured B26 Electric Orange. Standard Enclosures are supplied with 6mm square drive locks - (Ref 25-65-401-01).
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
3CR12 is a chromium containing corrosion resisting steel developed as an alternative material of contruction where mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and fabrication requirements of other material such as mild steel, galvanised or aluminised steel, aluminum or pre-painted steels are unsuitable.
ACCESSORIES
The Dolphin Series of enclosures is supported by a full range of accessories that will deal with most of your technical requirements, such as wall fixing brackets, canopies, glazed windows, three point locking devices and a variety of other locking devices.
SERVICING
Customising service can supply enclosures to your need. After they have passed through the manufacturing lines, you will receive your enclosure assembled to your specification and ready for mounting. All special requirements can be made in accordance with your request.
SIZES AVAILABLE
The product codes below refer to the IP55 and the IP65 ranges respectively. Dimensions are in millimetres (mm) and weights are in kilograms (kgs).
