APPLICATION
The MOLEK range of D.M.C (dough moulded compound) busbar insulators are suitable for medium voltage high current applications. Typically the insulators are used for neutral and busbar insulation. Types of installations include outdoor kiosks, substations, motor control centres, switchboards and control boxes.
CONSTRUCTION
Insulators are formed under heat and vertical pressure and manufactured from D.M.C with either brass "female" inerts and bright steel "male" studs.
MATERIAL
Insulators and supports are manufactured from polyester dough moulding compound. D.M.C has good mechanical and electrical properties.
FINISH
Insulators and supports have a gloss finish and are available in standard phase colours.
SIZES & TYPES
Codes refer to the type and style of insulator (Refer to diagrams and pictures). Dimensions are in millimetres (mm). Standard colours available are black, red, white and blue. Male (M) refer to studs and Female (F) refer to inserts.
